A Zim is a mythical creature from South Africa. He is a very hairy cannibal who would love to eat you up.

The Zim Mission

Long ago before pigs could fly, there was a Zim named Abby. She lived with a Zim named Kenny. They lived in a cave near the top of Mount Zimla. Abby was also good at flying. In fact she was the best because birds were jealous of her.

One chilly afternoon, Kenny got a letter from Jenna the Zim saying she needed a recipe for a type of stew to get first place in Zim Fair and get the gold child prize. Don’t go near the cursed ocean because - Boom!! you’re in the mutated chipmunks cave.

Abby put on her black hat. She packed a shovel, rope, food, instructions and a pot, then said, “I will see you soon Kenny.”

It was a very windy day with hail. Abby felt excited as she walked along the bumpy road. The air was very cold. The ground was very dangerous with cracks, but Abby felt happy that she was on a mission for the first time.

The crisp air made Abby feel nervous. All around her was hail. After about an hour, Abby started to see the road change to the color green.

Abby stopped because she became hungry, so she pulled out her bluefish sandwich. Suddenly Abby saw the best child for Jenna’s stew, so she ran to get it. She almost stepped in the ocean.

That second, when Abby went to step into the ocean, a board slipped under her feet and pulled her to a pot under the ocean. Abby could smell something. It smelled like rotten eggs. It looked like a half dead chipmunk. It squeaked “you’re invited to dinner, and not in a good way.”

Abby was thinking so hard that she got the strength to get out of the pot. So she flew out and Coco Dizoco scolded “I will get you next time!”

About twenty minutes after Abby escaped, she was at Jenna’s cave. She was making honey bee tea. When she greeted Abby at the door, Abby answered “I didn’t find the perfect child.” “Then I can’t make child stew!” said Jenna. They began to think, then Abby said “That’s a great idea.” The two friends talked for a little bit, and Abby buzzed good-bye. Instead of walking, she flew as fast as she could. When she got home, she told Kenny all about the trip, even the part about Coco Dizoco and the ocean and was so tired, she fell asleep in the doorway.

The End!!
