The Adventure of Dominic the Dragon
Introduction

A long time ago when the world was new in a forest getting taken over by trees, there was a 100 foot tall tree all crinkled up.
A dragon named Dominic and a wizard named Evan lived there. And Dominic was better at flying than anybody in the forest.

Departure

One windy summer afternoon Evan the Wizard and Dominic the Dragon were on top of the tree flying their kites. The wind started to kick up. Evan the Wizard saw that the waves far from the forest were getting bigger and bigger and bigger. That reminded Evan that it is hurricane season so he asked Dominic, “Can you do an errand for me?”
“Sure”, replied Dominic. “Go to the marsh where Nico the Shark lives and tell him that hurricanes are coming and get shelter”, yelled Evan. “Okay”, wailed Dominic. “Watch out for the Devil’s village, Dominic. Don’t ever go there” reminded Evan.
Dominic put on his plate of armor and packed water, apples and beef jerky and yapped, “Good bye my friend, Evan the Wizard. I will be back soon.”

The Adventure of Dominic the Dragon

It was a windy summer afternoon. It was like a battle between cool and warm. Dominic the Dragon walked along the spider webbed road with lanterns surrounding him. Dominic felt the warm was winning because he was sweating bullets. After a couple of hours, the cold was winning by a landslide. Dominic was as cold as a reptile in the arctic. The lanterns turned on and Dominic jumped so high he could touch the sky. He stopped to eat a fresh apple. He saw Evan the Wizard on top of a village. He yelled with excitement when he went to the village.
The second that Dominic entered, he saw that it wasn’t Evan. Then a giant cage fell on top of him. Then he realized it was the Devil’s village. Dominic smelled a giant rotten burger mixed with dead rats. Then a devil approached him with a voice as low as a dog growling and roared, “You are dinner for my family”. Dominic realized that it was the meanest devil, Meme Duneme, and he can mimic anybody on the outside but not on the inside.
Dominic challenged the devil to a flying contest to fly around the world with him. Dominic knew he would win because that was his talent. But he had a trick up his sleeve. So the devil got the key and opened the cage. Dominic came out, grabbed the keys, pushed the devil in the cage and locked it up. Dominic said, “Adios Amigo!” and started to walk to the marsh to tell Nico.
Dominic flew to the marsh and in seconds, he was there. He went under the marsh into a secret layer. Nico was playing Charades with his brother and all he heard was “a swordfish, no a dolphin”. “AHEM!” , Dominic cleared his throat. “I was sent by your friend, Evan the Wizard, to tell you that hurricanes are coming”’ barked Dominic. “Thank you and there’s some potion”, yipped Nico. “Thank you, Nico. Bye now,” yelled Dominic. “Bye”, responded Nico as Dominic flew back home to the ancient tree. “Dominic, you are back”, yipped Evan. “Yes and here is the potion from Nico the Shark!” yelled back Dominic.
“Dominic, did you go to the village?” asked Evan.
“Yes”, moaned Dominic. “You are the type of person I should not give an errand to do for me”, whispered Evan.
“I know”, Dominic whispered back.
