Haley’s Adventure

Once upon a time long, long ago when the earth was new, there was a very green forest and a cottage that was brown with a red doorknob. One freezing winter morning, Haley and Jenna were going outside and started getting cold in their house. Jenna went to go turn up the heater and remembered Hannah needed her heater fixed. Jenna asked Haley to go fix Hannah’s heater. Haley said yes, but Jenna said, “ Do not go near the haunted house.”
Haley puts on her blue jeans, green shirt, blue hat and green jacket. She packs food, water and tools in her backpack, waved goodbye to Jenna and went out the door. The air was freezing cold. The ground was filled with snow. Haley felt cold because the trees kept knocking snow down on her. After an hour, the snow turned into a blizzard! Haley was scared that she might not be able to see her way. She stopped to have a drink of water and to eat. All of a sudden, Haley saw the snow moving. She got so frightened, she ran into a hotel. As soon as Haley got in the hotel, she leaned on a bookcase and it flipped! Haley was now stuck in a small room where the floor was sticky and she was trapped. All of a sudden, Haley smelled something like dirty laundry and her face turned green.
Just then a very weird witch came out and told Haley, “I’m going to squish you and turn you into my new Nobeme. Yes, I am!”
Haley started thinking; he was thinking so hard that steam came out of her ears. She told the witch how about a jumping contest. The witch muttered ok and opened up the roof.
“Since I am going to win, I will go first, “ bragged the witch. The witch jumped very high. It was Haley’s turn and she jumped so high, she jumped out of the room and got back on the snowy path and hopped away from the witch and the haunted hotel.
Finally, Haley was safe. She quickly hopped over to Hannah’s River. When she got there, Hannah was sitting on her couch with a steaming warm blanket on. Haley quickly fixed her heater so Hannah could be warm again. Hannah gave Haley a new hat to thank her and said good-bye. Haley hopped really fast home, and when she got there, Jenna asked, “How was your trip?”
Jenna looked at Haley’s pants and saw sticky spots on the. Haley got in trouble for going into the haunted hotel and was grounded.
