Amy the Vampire

Once upon a time there was a vampire named Amy.  She lived with a gingerbread woman named Kaitlin.  They lived in an ancient dusty forest near a waterfall.  Amy was so good at running that she could run on water.
One cold winter night while Amy and Kaitlin were reading a book there was a noise.  Amy stopped reading.  It was a bird carrying a piece of paper.  The paper was an invitation to Shania’s Mountain.  Kaitlin warned Amy, “Whatever you do. Don’t go to Devils Lost Cave.”
Amy put on a warm leather jacket and then put on her backpack and her shoes.  Goodbye Kaitlin!  It was cold outside.  The ground was slippery.  Amy felt happy.  Two hours passed.  Amy blinked and everything turned pitch black.  Amy felt scared.  She stopped because she couldn’t see.  She saw a twinkling light floating around and followed the light right into a cave.
The moment Amy entered the cave a heavy cage fell on top of her.  Then Amy smelled something.  Out of nowhere, Amy saw a big, green, hairy cat with big claws like swords.  It smelled like rotten egg and garbage.  Then the creature said, “My name is Mimi Forimi and I am going to slice you up and eat you.”
Amy was thinking so hard, and then she got an idea.  Amy said, “Are you thirsty, Mimi?”  “Yes!” Mimi said.  “Okay, so let me out and I will go and get you water.” said Amy.  Mimi opened the cage and Amy started to run around Mimi.  Mimi got so dizzy that she fell down.  Amy ran away
Finally Amy was safe.  She went directly to the mountain.  When she got there she saw how beautiful it was.  Amy ran as fast as she could to get home.  Finally, she was home.  Kaitlin asked, “How was your trip?”  Amy said it was great.  She never told Kaitlin about going to Devil’s Cave.
