Kaitlin the Mermaid Princess
Once upon a time there was a mermaid princess named Kaitlin. She lived with her mermaid friend named Amy. They lived in a lovely enormous castle under the ocean. Kaitlin was so good at hiding sometimes she couldn’t find herself.
One cold winter night while Kaitlin and Amy were getting dressed for their dad’s birthday party a piece of mail came under the door. Kaitlin picked up the letter and opened it. She read: Dear Kaitlin, You need to warn Alia that Sammy the kidnapper is out of jail and he out to get her. Kaitlin says she will go to Alia and warn her. Before Kaitlin left, Amy warns her, “Whatever you do, don’t go to the Forbidden Tower.”
Kaitlin put on a dress and a long jacket. She packed juice, tea, popcorn and chips. She said, “I can’t believe Sammy is out of jail!” By she told Amy. The land was wet with seaweed all over it. The water was cold. You could see snow floating on the surface. Kaitlin was nervous. Two hours past, and the water was getting darker. Kaitlin became even more nervous. She stopped to have a snack and saw a sign that said Alia’s Place with an arrow. She followed the sign’s direction and went on and on. She wasn’t paying any attention and ended up in an old tower.
Kaitlin heard a rustle in the bushes and she turned and a bear popped out and it scared Kaitlin into a tower. As soon as Kaitlin went into the tower she got trapped in a steel cage. Out of the shadows came a fat witch that had big feet and she had warts and green skin. She was so ugly not even a rat would date her. “My name is Neta Nesata.”
Thinking quickly, Kaitlin hid in one of the corners in the steel cage. The witch opened the cage door. “Where are you little prisoner” bellowed Neta Nesata. Kaitlin ran out. She ran out of the tower and once she was out she realized it was the Forbidden Tower.
Finally Kaitlin was safe. She went directly to Alia’s palace. When she got there she warned Alia, and Alia was saved. She hopped on a dolphin and it took her home. “Hi Amy,” said Kaitlin. “How was your trip?” Amy asked. “It was great!” Kaitlin said. “Oh, and by the way, I went into the Forbidden Tower,” she admitted. “What!!!!” Amy shouted. Boy, Kaitlin was in trouble.
