Shania the Princess
Once upon a time, there was a princess named Shania. She lived with a princess named Oshjahnay. They lived in a beautiful, colorful castle near the forest. Shania was very good at playing the guitar. Animals loved to come listen to her.
One spring evening while Shania and Oshjahnay were drinking lemonade in the back-yard, there was a mailman at the door. There was a carriage with a horse. The letter was an invitation to Mrs. Canepari’s royal ball. Oshjahnay warned Shania, “Whatever you do, don’t go to Haunted House.”
Shania put on a tank top and a skirt with a goat. Then Shania packed a purple full dress, make up, and her guitar. Then Shania said “Ta-ta” Oshjahnay. It was hot outside. The ground was heating up and hot from the sun. Shania felt excited. After two hours, the weather changed. It was cold. Shania felt nervous. Then Shania stopped for a while because she was tired. Shania was really hungry. She could smell red berry pie. Shania couldn’t take it. It smelled so good after her long walk. Shania went right into the house following that delicious smell.
The moment Shania entered the house she heard an evil, horrible laugh. It smelled like a dirty sock left in a locker for a long time. Then she saw a green lady with a pointy nose. The lady wore a red dress with holes and a black hat. “Booo!” she yelled. Shania was trapped in a net. “Help!” Soso Menoso giggled. Soso Menoso was changing herself to look like me. Soso said, “I am going to eat you for lunch… yummy.”
Thinking quickly, Shania began to play her guitar. Soso Menoso was curious. Then Shania stopped playing and made a deal with Soso. The deal was that Shania would teach Soso to play. Soso agreed. She let Shania out of the net and Shania taught her to play the guitar. When Soso learned Camp Rock she was happy and let Shania go. Soso told Shania to come back and visit. Shania left the house and wasn’t sure she would EVER go back!
Finally, Shania was safe. She went directly to the royal ball. When she got there, Shania became princess of Gunovey. When the ball was over, Queen Canepari gave her a lift on her carriage home. When Shania got home she said, “Hi Oshjahany, I’m home.” “How was your trip Shania?” Oshjahnay asked. Shania told Oshjahnay it was good and she was right about the haunted house. Shania will never go there again!
